I was having my orientation this week. After joining the company for 3weeks. Some of you guys might have also attended orientation when you first joined your company, and you might not like it. The HR just talk and talk and you sleep and sleep and sleep.
I have to say that i am kinda impressed by the HR team that prepared this orientation that i am going through right now. Is a 3 day thingy, and is definitely one of its kind. I shan't touch on the details. But the main thing i like about the whole orientation is that we get to go around different departments and see the environment, understand how they operate and stuff. It was definitely a benefit for me. My company is really big. And not many people out there, knows exactly what is going on in their own company as well. For this i really wanna applaude the HR team.
I went on the job training today with the couriers. It was just so fun, went around town and north area to deliver and pick up shipments. Man, these couriers can really drive F1. And the best thing is, they know all the short cuts to get from one destination to another. Cool. They are very fun people too. Gonna miss them.
I am looking forward to tomorrow, which i will be going down to changi south warehouse, to see the actual hub together with the aeroplane and how they work. This is just going to be amazing. So looking forward to it.
Not to forget also that i made some real good friends in this orientation. So much was shared and talk about. Cool, i hope this will go on even when we go back to no.9 and i won't feel so lonely anymore hahahaha!! Cheers!!
